Latasha McDonald - 2nd Grade Teacher
My name is Latasha McDonald. I have 12 years of teaching experience with the Columbus City School District. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition and Food Management with a Concentration in Dietetics from The Ohio State University. I also have a Master's degree in Health Administration and Education from The University of Phoenix. With my experience and education, I believe that I can make a positive impact in a child's life. I enjoy working with children and I have a passion for teaching. It is with great pleasure to be apart of the Eastbridge Academy of Excellence as a Second Grade Teacher.
Katrina Wilson - 3rd Grade Teacher
Katrina Wilson is the third grade teacher at East Bridge. She has over 10 years experience in the education profession. Last year she taught second grade in Columbus, and before that she taught preschool before she moved up to management. She graduated with her Bachelors degree in business and her Masters degree in Early Childhood Education. Katrina lives in Zanesville with her husband and two boys. When she is not teaching, she is seen growing produce at the greenhouse and selling at local farmer's markets.
Raymond Sweet Sr. - Middle School Teacher
Raymond E. Sweet, Sr. married 25 years to Terri Sweet. We have four children, two boys and two girls. I have an undergraduate degree in Mass Communications from Tennessee State University. I began my career in education as an instructional assistant, working with the discipline program for Columbus City Schools. I went back to school to get my teaching license and completed a Master's in Education in 2012 with a license in Principal leadership. I enjoy helping students achieve success and assisting others as they develop their potential.
Curtis Williams - Intervention Specialist
Mr. Curtis Williams is licensed with the Ohio Department of Education as an Intervention Specialist for grades k through 12. He has been with East Bridge Academy of Excellence for two years. He received his B.A. and M.A. degrees from The Ohio State University. He has over 20 plus years of classroom experience as an Intervention Specialist at the primary and secondary level. As an Intervention Specialist, Mr. Williams has extensive experience assessing student learning outcomes, creating student progress reports, and developing and implementing Evaluation Team Reports (ETR). Mr.Williams frequently communicates with parents, advocacy groups, psychologists, administrators, and other internal education staff, to create and implement federally mandated Individual treatment Plans, and Individual Education Programs (IEP), to ensure compliance with the federally mandated Individual with Disabilities Education Act.
